This looks pretty good!! I think ill probs get it when the price goes down tho, it hasnt got me all excited.. yet!

I still havnt played the Secret Rings yet...

I meant Shadow The Hedgehog, STH 2006, SA2B. Sonic Adventure. You know what i mean.

Shadow The Hedgehog:

Laggy (well on the ps2 that is)

Attempt to make series dark and edgy (which just does not fit to the series.)

No lock on with the guns (Whats the point in having guns on a PLATFORMER if there is no lock on system?)

Bad camera ( Why Mr.Camera did you pull a 180 degree on me and reverse again and made me lose my concentration??)

Not so good voice acting (Vector anyone?)

Sonic 2006 (THE BIG MESS UP!!)

Terrible new characters ( Oh god how many goddamned hedgehogs do we need, i mean Silver and Mephiles have completly terrible personalitys!)

Glitches ( I heard this game had a TRUCKLOAD OF GLITCHES!)

Not interesting level designs ( THE CHAOS, THE DARKNESS, THE BURNING BUILDINGS!!! yawwwwn)

Music ( His World.... I was never interested on that song... Not to mention it does not fit to the Sonic Series at all)

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

Evil camera controls ( Ugh i found the camera so friggin annoying)

Music ( Okay why the hell do i get retarded rap music on most of Knuckles stages, J-pop-like music on Rouges stages, Rock on Sonic's stages etc. Not to mention a lot of the music does not fit into the stages)

Annoying stages ( Rouges and Knuckles are a big example)

Character that was okay at start but just became so friggin annoying:

Sonic Adventure was (IMO) an average game.

The music was brilliant ( before SEGA added generic rock music into the backgrounds of nearly each stage.)

But it suffered from bad camera angles and bad lip-synching (sp?). Not to mention bad final boss.

Anyway back on topic.

This game looks amazing. 2d with 3d graphics = epic
Although i am not keen on the were-hog :S

Shadow first it was a bad game in most ways
but the darkness was because shadow had a bad past and was confused
also it isn't a part of the series of sonic it is a spin off game

i have just played the game yesterday and i saw glitches for myself but it was only with rogue and i will guess knuckles has the same problem the three hedgehogs were fine no problems
why is it people have a problem when sega/sonic team add new characters to the sonic games when other games add characters all the time and Mephiles isn't really a new character he is just in this one game maybe rivals on the psp but i don't know about that anyway he is just a bit of darkness who took the form of shadow. his world fits the game perfectly and it is a good song also it is only one song there are tons of others

all i am going to say about the other is they were re-releases what the hell did you expect from a dreamcast game
there isn't 2d graphics in this game looked 3D to me

Mephiles is not in Rivals.
I do not know how His World fits to the jolly world of Sonic.

And the best music track is..... CASINO NIGHT ZONE!!!

Had that casino feel.
Yes this is serious. CASINO NIGHT ZONE SHALL RULE ALL!!!

And i was supposed to say 2d Gameplay with 3d graphics.

And once again i hope Robotnik/Eggman is the main REAL villian instead of some lame ass monster ( i just had to say lame ass.... Even poor Metal Sonic's monster form

Because they add crap, overly cocky and extremely annoying characters. They can get it right sometimes. I mean, Big the Cat rocks and Blaze seems alright. it's just when they break out the Shadows and Silvers!
